The craft villages in Thai Binh are abundant and diversified. Hoi village festival is presenting sedge mat weaving profession. Quang Lang village festival is presenting fishing profession in the sea. Long Boi village festival is presenting fabric-weaving profession. Festivals in craft villages often relate to customs of worshipping founders of professions. Hoi village festival worships Pham Don Le - who taught how to weave sedge mat. Dong Xam village festival worships Nguyen Kim Lau - who taught and developed jewelry profession. Quang Lang village festival worships salt female lord. Dong Ho village festival worships ancestor of carpentry.
